NFL Crystal Ball: Without their key defensive players, the Seahawks will lose to the Eagles this Sunday

The red hot Philadelphia Eagles are going to win against the the struggling Seattle Seahawks. Hopefully the Seahawks kicker won’t be missing any more kicks when they need him in the big moments, especially against a team like the Eagles who this year are the best team in the NFL. They have 10 wins and 1 loss. They are 1st in the NFC East.

The Seahawks have been doing okay considering they have lots of injuries. They lost to the Redskins in week 9 but they bounced back in week 10 with a win. The Seahawks have 6 wins and 4 losses.They are 2nd in the NFC west. The Seahawks’ passing is one of the best in league. But they have been struggling on their running game. They are ranked 23rd in the league. The offensive line is doing really poorly and making Russell Wilson the quarterback scramble out of the pocket.

The weakest part of the Seahawks’ offence is their offensive line. They have been struggling a lot. They are constantly switching the offensive line but they can’t seem to find the right lineup. This is putting pressure on Russell Wilson and forcing him to make quick decisions with the ball. Russell Wilson is doing well with a bad offensive line but their running offence is still awful.

The top players that the Eagles should watch for are Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin and Paul Richardson. The two wide receivers, Richardson and Baldwin, have been having a really good season. This is Paul Richardson’s best: he is averaging 16 yards per catch. Doug Baldwin has been having a good year. He has around 600 catching yards this season. This is one of Russell Wilson’s best seasons yet. He is averaging 250 passing yards per game, has 3,000 passing yards and 23 touchdowns right now. I think the Seahawk’s offence should just give Paul Richardson the ball way more because he creates fantastic plays. They usually look for him when it’s a 3rd down and they need the 1st down. But it will be hard for the Seahawks to play offence because the Eagles have one of the best offences in the league.

The Eagles have an elite and young offence which is averaging 32 points per game. Players that the Seahawks should watch for when they’re on defence are Carson Wentz, Alshon Jeffery and Jay Ajayi. Carson Wentz had a bad season last year. He had 16 interceptions but that was his rookie year. This year his offence has been one of the best in the league. He has improved in a lot of his passing. This year he only has 5 interceptions which is better than last year. Alshon Jeffery was traded to the Eagle’s this year, which was a really good trade for the Eagles because Jeffrey is an all-star wide receiver. I don’t think the Seahawks can stop the Eagles’ offence especially when the Seahawks have their key players out on defence.

In the past few games the Seahawks have lost Kam Chancellor, Cliff Avril and Richard Sherman. Richard Sherman suffered a knee injury and had to go to surgery which would put him out of the season. Kam Chancellor was also injured his neck but it is still questionable whether he will return or be out for the season. He will most likely be out for the season. Cliff Avril has been injured since week 4 he has said, “I am not ready to retire and you might see me at the end of the regular season.” This is a good sign for the Seahawks if he returns because he is a veteran defensive end that has been with this team for a very long time.

Key players that the Eagles’ offence should watch for are Earl Thomas, Michael Bennett, and Bobby Wagner. Earl Thomas also suffered a back injury but it wasn’t that serious and he did return the next game after that. He hasn’t been performing but he is still one of the best safeties in the game and he’s gotten no help from the defence. But Earl Thomas is having a good season even if his injuries have been affecting his game. Bobby Wagner this year has been one of the best middle linebackers. He has 100 tackles and 2 interceptions. He has been saving the Seahawks’ defence. He is one of the best middle linebackers in the NFL right now and he is exciting to watch. The Eagles should have eyes on Bobby for sure.

The Eagles’ defence are one of the best running defences they are ranked first in the league and their passing defence is ok but not the greatest they are ranked 16th in the league. I think the Seahawks should pass the ball more to counter the Eagle’s defence. What I think the Seahawks shouldn’t do is try running the ball but they don’t have a good running offence besides their own quarterback. Top players the Seahawks should watch for on offence are Patrick Robinson, Malcolm Jenkins and Mychal Kendricks. Malcolm Jenkins this year has been good. He has 54 tackles, 1 sack and 2 interceptions which is really good for a cornerback. Jenkins is a good cornerback. He is not scared of tackling any running back or wide receiver. Patrick Robinson got traded to the Eagles this season. He is playing one of his best season in his career. Robinson has 35 tackles and 3 interceptions–his all time highest–which is okay. Mychal Kendricks is one of the best middle linebackers in the league. He has 54 tackles and 2 sacks–decent for a middle linebacker. I think the Seahawks have a chance on their offence to get points against the Eagles’ defence.

The Seahawks have a chance to score but their defence doesn’t stand a chance against the Eagles. The Eagles have more talent on offence and with the Seahawks’ main defensive players out, I don’t think they can stop the Eagles. This game is a lock for Philadelphia.
