October 16th–what a night it was for Manchester City’s Sergio Kun Agüero. Not only did he score 178 goals but he also scored a place in the history books, becoming the top scorer ever in club history.
The Argentinian player moved ahead of Eric Brooks’s all-time scoring tally of 166 goals in 453 games. Eric Brooks was an English player from 1928-1939.
In the game against Napoli on the 16th, Agüero managed to score in the 69th minute which secured the victory and a place in the round of 16 for the Champion’s league.
Agüero first joined the club Manchester city in 2011. He was 23 years old at the time. Agüero gradually got better and better every season. Now he’s one of the best strikers in the world and the top scorer in Manchester City.
