The Minnesota Vikings are going to win against the Green Bay Packers today.
The Minnesota Vikings are at 11 wins and 3 losses. They’re 1st in the NFC north and 1st in their seed for a playoff spot. Their offense this year has been good. They have improved on their passing and running offense. Last year they lost to the Seahawks because their kicker, Blair Walsh, missed a field goal and lost them the game. It was a tough loss for the Vikings. The Vikings are currently ranked 12th in their passing offense, and 6th in their running offense.
Top 3 players that the Packers should watch for are Stefon Diggs, Latavius Murray and Case Keenum. This is Diggs’s third season with the Vikings. Diggs is a decent wide receiver. He doesn’t get crazy yards but when he does get the ball he’s averaging 14 yards per catch. I think they should pass the ball more to Stefon since he’s only getting around 6 passes per game. The offense needs to get him more involved. Latavius Murray got traded to the Vikings this year. These past three games have been really slow for him, as he hasn’t been doing his best. In the last three games he has been only averaging 80 yards. He is averaging four yards per carry which is decent, however I know he can be doing better. Case Keenum has been surprisingly good. This is his best year in his career. Keenum got traded to the Vikings this season. Case Keenum saved his team this year and is averaging 7 yards per pass. I don’t think the Packers’ defense can stop Case Keenum and his offense.
The Vikings’ defense has incredible talent and is ranked in the top 3 defenses in the league. The Vikings’ defense only allows an average of 18 points per game, putting them third in the league. They have improved a lot from last year due to bringing in more young, talented players.
The top 3 players that the Packers’ offense should watch for are Anthony Barr, Harrison Smith, and Andrew Sendejo. Barr is a outside linebacker. He has 64 tackles and 1 sack this season. He is young and still improving his game. Sendejo is a strong safety and is his 7th season with the Vikings. He has improved a lot to the way he plays. This is one of his best seasons yet as he has 66 tackles and 2 interceptions. Smith is a free safety with 62 tackles, 2 sacks and 3 interceptions. The Vikings’ defense is easily going to stop the Packers’ offense.
The Packers’ offense and defense have been struggling badly as they can’t find their offense. The Packers have 7 wins and 7 losses. Without their quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, you can see the difference. Aaron Rodgers has returned to the lineup and he is off his injury. They are out of the playoff picture.
The top 3 players that the Vikings’ defense should watch for are Aaron Jones, Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb. Jones is one of the best rookies. He has had a large impact on his team in a lot of ways but these past three games he hasn’t been doing as great as he did before, as he has been only getting 50 yards and averaging 10 yards per catch. Rodgers loves to throw to Cobb. After missing some games, Rodgers didn’t do the best in his first game back against the Carolina Panthers. His absence had really affected the Packers season since he is their key quarterback. If they had Rodgers for the whole season I think they could’ve made the playoffs. Aaron Jones has had a decent season for a rookie. He has been averaging 5 yards per carry and is one of the best rookie running backs.
The Packers can seem to find their defense haven’t been doing the best this year. Still, the top 3 players that the Vikings’ offense should watch for are Ha Ha Clinton Dix, Blake Martinez and Jake Ryan. Martinez is one of the best linebackers. He has blown up this season and really has improved himself. He has 127 tackles, 1 sacks, 1 fumble recovery and 1 interceptions. He is also one of the key defensive players on this team. Ryan is also a key linebacker on this team. He has 64 tackles, 2 sacks and 1 fumble return.
The Packers will lose today because they just haven’t found a way to their offense and defense.
