Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West appear to be looking into getting a divorce. “Kim and Kanye are doing their own thing. They spend a lot of time apart,” With everything that has happened between Kim and Kanye, they are still putting their kids first. “They are keeping it low-key but they are done… they are in settlement talks,” a source told Los Angeles Times.
Kim and Kanye met in 2003 when Kim was working as the assistant to singer Brandy, whom Kanye was recording a song with at the time. Kim was still married to Damon Thomas, but she remained friends with Kanye. Kanye says he had his eyes on Kim since the first time he saw her, “I just knew I wanted her to be my girl for a long time” he told Ryan Seacrest in 2013. In April of 2012, Kanye rapped about falling in love with Kim in a song, as Kim was divorcing Humphries.
Kanye started to be in Kim’s life more and more after that as they were getting comfortable, the couple were eventually expecting their first baby. After their first child, Kanye proposed to Kim and soon started a big family.
On July 4th, Kanye entered the 2020 presidential race, announcing on Twitter he was running for president. Observers noted that it was already too late for West to get on the ballot in all 50 states. Kanye declared that he was campaigning on a pro life and anti vaccine platform. While discussing his platform at his first rally in South Carolina, Kanye shared that he and Kim did consider aborting their first baby North West, surprising the audience and others.
“I almost killed my daughter,’ the rapper said, tearfully, to the surprised audience. “Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world, even when I didn’t want to,”
Kim reportedly did not appreciate the comments.”Kim is shocked that Kanye spoke about North at the rally,” the source said. “She is furious that he shared something so private.”
After Kanye mentioned North at his rally and also published several tweets about the Kardashian family which have now been deleted.
Kim decided to speak up about Kanye’s mental health on her Instagram story, saying “As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder, Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand.”
Kim continues, “those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behaviour know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor.” Kim went on about the stress in Kanye’s life including “the painful loss of his mother.”
Kanye later tweeted he “did not cover her like she has covered me. I would like to apologize to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter,” Kanye wrote. “To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.”
There are a lot of rumours saying that Kim is preparing to file for divorce. “Kim and Kanye are doing their own thing. They spend a lot of time apart,” a source told People Magazine. “They are keeping it low-key but they are done.”
“He knows that she’s done,” a source told People magazine. “She has had enough, and she told him that she wants some space to figure out her future,”
